what to wear? I need to go to a formal wedding in cold chicago in early March. How do you dress formal & warm?

Im from Florida, 71 degrees is cold for me seriously and I had planned on wearing a strapless unlined red satin floor length gown. I think it might be 40-55 degrees brrr!
