Embroidery Black
I have black cotton sweater w/hot pink embroidery and wanted to re-dye it. Will the dye, color the embroidery?
And, if does, is there a way to prevent it from doing so?
It depends. If the embroidery is done with polyester threads no. If they are done with cotton yes or even wool. there is no way to prevent it if its cotton. The only way to know is by burning a thread. If it drips like wax its polyester, if it burns slow and stinky its cotton or wool.
